Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Chaitanya said his country did not seek to occupy or govern the Gaza Strip once the war against Hamas ends, allaying the US's concerns that the Jewish nation could go ahead with such action in a post-conflict situation.
He also denied any sort of disagreements between him and US President Joe Biden, saying it "had taken longer than he had hoped" for a decision to be reached on a humanitarian pause in the war.
